Good tools make all the difference whether it is creating a painting our building a house! Today I received a new supply of paints, canvases, drawing paper and brushes. Just looking at blank canvases sets my imagination on high drive. The complete set of paint pictured above is the limited palette which I have used for many years. The colors are: Naphthol Red Light, Quinacridone Magenta, Alizarin Crimson,Phthalocynide Blue (Green Shade), Cadmium Yellow Light, Yellow Light Hansa (optional), Raw Sienna (optional), and of course Titanium White. I use Liquitex because of the purity of the color. With this combination there is unlimited possibilities. I use the heavy body acrylics that can be applied very thick or watered down even to a consistency of water-color. So many canvases and paint tubes…so little time!
